Vallecito, CA — Friends and family members have organized a benefit concert for seven-year-old Zack Gillman of Vallecito who was injured in a chainsaw accident on News Year’s Eve.
Gillman fell into the saw which caused him to need 60 stitches and may eventually require him to have facial reconstructive surgery.
“He’s seven-years-old and is the toughest person I know,” says Ashley Gillman, Zach’s older sister. “We’re really proud of him and he is healing up well.”
Three bands will perform a benefit concert for Gillman Saturday at 2pm at 4419 Parrotts Ferry Rd. in Vallecito. Donations are being requested to help cover medical bills.
