Yosemite National Park, CA — An extremely large rock slide closed the Mirror Lake Loop Trail early Saturday morning.
The debris from the 5:26am slide caused a 2.5 magnitude earthquake.
Ranger Scott Gediman commented that a decision will be made at a later date as to whether to reopen Mirror Lake Loop Trail.
Gediman added that, “Fortunately no one was injured, no structures were damaged. It was just a natural phenomena that we see quite often at Yosemite.”
