Recovery Act Funding Will Be Used To Plant Trees In Angels Camp

Angels Camp, CA — $1.04 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act will be used to plant 1,200 native oak trees along the Angels Camp Bypass.

Caltrans Spokesperson Lisa Balcom says, “It will improve the aesthetics along the new bypass and will integrate it with the rural foothill environment.”

The trees will be situated along 28 acres. The funds were allocated Thursday in Sacramento.
