Sonora, CA — The Sonora Police Department has arrested a brother and sister for allegedly stealing a wallet from a victim at a downtown bar and later taking items from a mini mart.
Late Wednesday night, 25-year-old Misty Gavi of Jamestown and 22-year-old Jonathon Gavi of Sonora were taken into custody. A third person involved, parolee Jeremy Allen of Riverbank, had left the two by the time that officers tracked down the Gavi siblings.
Police later went to a room at the Gold Lodge that Allen was staying. Allen was not there, but officers confiscated 4.2 grams of cocaine, one gram of hash and 2.3 grams of marijuana. Inside Allen’s room was another parolee Narrie Alfaro, age 37 of Crystal Falls, who was taken into custody.
