Sonora, CA — According to Bill Barrios from the Stanislaus National Forest Fire Dispatch Center, the early morning fire has been confined to a 50 by 150 log deck in the Basin Area.
Responding are units from the Stanislaus National Forest, Tuolumne County Fire Department, Tuolumne City Fire and several hand crews from the Sierra Conservation Center Baseline Camp.
The fire was first spotted by Sierra Resource Management personnel on their way to work this morning.
