Monterey, CA — The 115th C.S.A.C. (California State Association of Counties) annual conference is opening this morning at the Convention Center.
According to Tuolumne CAO Craig Pedro it will be an extremely full conference this year. Topics to be discussed by speakers and in breakout sessions will include the state’s continuing budget crisis, the economy, the water bill packages that were recently passed, fire protection and who pays for that, pension reform, the governor’s revenue task force and a number of constitutional convention proposals.
Four of the five Tuolumne County supervisors are scheduled to attend. Liz Bass will be the lone absentee.
The conference closes Friday.
