Sonora, CA — The 26th annual Sonora Christmas Parade was held in the downtown area Friday evening.
Put on by the City of Sonora, it is the traditional kickoff to the Christmas and Holiday season.
Event Coordinator Sheala Wilkenson says 72 entries registered this year.
The parade traveled along Washington St. Acts performed live music along the street leading up to the parade, and Santa and Mrs. Claus met with children in Courthouse park immediately afterwards.
