Murphys, CA — A Murphys man has been arrested for possessing drugs and a weapon. 54-year-old Russ Bond was pulled over earlier this week by the Angels Camp Police Department near the intersection of Gardener Lane and Casey Street.
An officer found methamphetamine and prescription narcotics in his possession, and a loaded unregistered handgun was found in the trunk of his vehicle. Bond was booked into Calaveras County Jail.
