Tuolumne County Holiday Furlough Period To Commence Monday

Sonora, CA — The two week Tuolumne County holiday furlough period will go into effect Monday, December 21.

All emergency services including fire, ambulance and the Sheriff’s Office (main office closed) will be open along with snow plow operations from the Public Works Department if needed.

Other offices/services that will be open, mostly on a limited hours/staffing basis, include Health and Human Services (Child Support Services and Social Services). Behavioral Health Crisis Services will be available by calling 533-7000.

The Tuolumne General Medical Facility will be open on its normal 24/7 schedule.

Other offices that will be open on a limited basis include Fiscal Services (Clerk/Auditor/Controller, Treasurer/Tax Collector & Recorder), County Counsel, District Attorney’s Office and the Public Defender’s Office.
