Sonora, CA — Sonora High School is set to graduate 270 seniors this evening at Dunlavy Field.
Parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles will fill the stands for the seven o´clock ceremony.
Today started with an 8:30am rehearsal conducted by the Wildcats´ Activities Director Steve Southard. That event was followed by a Seniors´ Breakfast. Sober Grad Night will follow graduation.
Principal Todd Dearden says he will always remember the Class of 2008 for its unique creativity. Whether it was Homecoming, a dance or any other special event the seniors always demonstrated an unmistakable sense of creativity in their dress and approach.
According to Dearden at Grad Night at Disneyland half the senior girls wore ´80´s garb.
