Sonora, CA — 24 year old Tessa Amber Lay of MiWuk Village and 28 year old John Karl Clark of Sonora were arrested on numerous charges late Friday evening and booked into the County Jail.
Sheriff´s Deputy Dan Graziose was on routine patrol at 11:30pm when he noticed a vehicle with a malfuncting headlight at Chicken Ranch and Table Mountain Roads in Jamestown. Graziose stopped the 2003 Silver Mitsubishi Outlander.
Both occupants showed signs of being under the influence of methamphetamine. Two small baggies of meth was discovered in the vehicle. They were immediately arrested.
Lay is being held on $10,000 bail for possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Clark was booked on similar charges, but he is being held with no bail due to his arrest while on active parole.
