$12,525 Raised At Mother Lode Round Up Calcutta

Jamestown, CA — According to Dan Durnall of the Sheriff´s Posse, $12,525 was raised Thursday evening during the Mother Lode Round Up Calcutta event at the Sheriff´s Posse Grounds.

Even with the down economy that is only $150 less than was raised a year ago.

An automatic 25 percent of that amount, or $3,131,25, is earmarked for the Tuolumne County School Scholarship Fund.

The remaining money goes to the bidders for the teams with the money to be split on a 50-30-20 basis for first, second and third place finishes during the weekend competition.
