Angels Camp, Ca — Fire crews have been able to contain the vegetation fire south of Angels Camp on Red Hill Rd.
According to Nancy Longmore with CAL Fire, the cause has been determined to be an escaped debris burn. The size of the fire, that started during the four o´clock hour, has been estimated at 2-3 acres.
Red Hill Rd. will remain closed to traffic until approximately 6pm. No structures were damaged.
