Sacramento, CA — According to the National Weather Service the California sunshine we´ve enjoyed of late will come to an end this week.
Light showers are predicted for tomorrow with snow at the higher elevations.
More showers are expected Thursday with heavy rain predicted for late Friday through Sunday with heavy snow forecast for those higher elevations.
The last measurable Mother Lode snowfall occured Super Bowl Sunday.
