San Andreas, Ca — 48-year-old Bradley E. Meraz of Avery was arrested Tuesday evening after driving off Hwy 4 and overturning down a steep embankment near Upper Utica Powerhouse Rd.
According to the CHP, Meraz was driving under the influence, did not have chains on his vehicle even though they were required, and was traveling at an unsafe speed. Meraz did not sustain injuries, but was booked into Calaveras County Jail. The accident was reported at 8:50pm.
