Jamestown, Ca — Last year over $60,000 was raised for Tuolumne County Meals on Wheels at the “Evening To Remember” fundraiser at Railtown 1897 in Jamestown.
Meals on Wheels Coordinator Randy Hunsaker says that it costs approximately $100,000 each year to keep the program running, so this single fundraiser is a major part of its budget to supply meals to seniors.
The 2nd annual fundraiser at Railtown is scheduled for the evening of Saturday, August 23rd. The night will include a train ride and meal by Seven Sisters. Call 533-2622 for ticket information.
