Update: Semi Blocking HWY 49 In Tuttletown

Update at 6 p.m.: The big rig trailer that was stuck on Highway 49 at the Rawhide Road intersection in the Tuttletown area of Tuolumne County has been removed. It is unclear if the driver of the semi was able to free the section of the trailer resting on the pavement or whether it was pulled off the roadway by another vehicle. The CHP reports that a tow crew had been called to the scene, but was called off before it arrived as the truck was already removed from the highway.
