Sonora, CA — At this morning´s Board of Supervisors meeting Tuolumne CAO Craig Pedro pointed out that a new youth center will be constructed in Groveland.
While not utilizing $1.2 million in Proposition 40 dollars, Pedro pointed out that a combination of HUD (Housing and Urban Development) and Growth Impact dollars will finance the $400,000 facility.
Pedro commented that this is a perfect example of jurisdictions working together to better a community. The Groveland Community Service District provided the land and utilities while the County will build and operate the facility.
