San Francisco, CA — According to the Associated Press 100 percent containment of the Angel Island State Park fire in the San Francisco Bay is expected this evening.
As of six o´clock Monday evening the fire was 75 percent contained.
The vegetation fire, perhaps started by an errant campfire Sunday evening, has burned 400 acres of the island´s 730 acres.
There are currently 250 firefighting and overhead personnel assigned to the fire. Monday island firefighting resources were already being reduced.
