San Andreas, CA — With another blast of Santa Ana winds predicted for the southland, resources from around the state are being funneled into southern California.
One strike team of engines (5), one strike team of dozers and two strike teams of hand crews are being sent from the CAL Fire Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit.
According to Communications Operator Jim DeVoll in San Andreas no plans have been made at the present time to backfill the resources that are departing the unit. DeVoll adds that approximately 13 engines and several hand crews will remain in unit so “we should be in pretty good shape.”
