Sonora, CA — According to the CHP report 63 year old Barbara Spadero of Sonora suffered multiple facial fractures and a possible broken right leg in a single vehicle accident Sunday moments before 1pm.
Spadero was riding her 2001 Indian motorcycle when due to her speed she failed to negotiate a downhill left hand curve in the roadway on Hwy 49 north of the Calaveras-Tuolumne County line.
The bike exited the roadway and hit a steep embankment. From there she was propelled through the windshield.
Spadero was air lifted to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
