Yosemite, Ca — With the incoming winter weather, Yosemite National Park officials announce that Tioga Pass will close at 7pm this evening.
The storm is bringing rain to the Sierra Nevada region with significant snowfall expected at the higher elevations. Once the storm has passed, an assessment will be made regarding the reopening of Tioga Pass.
Meanwhile Caltrans has not yet made a decision regarding the possible closure of Sonora Pass or Ebbetts Pass.
