Sonora, Ca — There is still work to be done before the election results in Tuolumne County become official.
“We still need to process the vote-by-mail ballots that were turned in at the polling places, and we have approximately 2,800 of those,” said Elections Official Debi Russell earlier today. “We also have 654 provisional ballots.”
With some of the local races very close, Russell says that there is still a possibility that leads could change hands.
