San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County Clerk-Recorder Karen Varni has updated the vote count from the November 4 General Election but these numbers do not reflect the provisionals that will be included in the final canvass.
Provisionals are ballots that may have been dropped off at a precinct other than the one designated for a particular voter.
With the updated numbers there were changes in the two supervisorial races. When the 30 precincts closed Tuesday evening at eight o´clock Gary Tofanelli held a 347 vote lead over Zerrall McDaniel in the District One race. That lead now stands at 360 votes.
In the District Four contest, six term Incumbent Tom Tryon held a 111 vote lead over challenger Lee Seaton Tuesday evening. That lead has now increased to 169 votes.
