A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. This Fire Weather Watch will be in effect from Friday morning through Saturday afternoon due to gusty northeastly winds and low relative humidity.
From the National Weather Service; an upper level high pressure system in the eastern Pacific will push into the west coast through the end of the week bringing a gradual warming and drying trend to all areas. Periods of moderate offshore winds along with very warm and dry conditions will occur from late Thursday through Saturday. As a result critical fire weather conditons are expected Friday and Saturday over Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
