San Andreas, CA — CAL Fire and a Jenny Lind crew responded to an illegal debris burn Wednesday afternoon at 1:45.
The location; 2785 Dennis Lane in Rancho Calaveras. The spot fire was extinguished in 45 minutes.
That resident could very well receive a citation for burning on a “no burn” day.
From CAL Fire Battalion Chief Barry Rudolph, “Even if it is a “permissive burn day” use common sense and don´t burn if windy conditions exist. Embers can quickly start a wildland fire and spread to nearby structures.”
