San Andreas, CA — In a story just released by the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department a service station attendent in Arnold sprayed an armed robber with mace after the would-be robber brandished a firearm and demanded cash Tuesday evening.
It was 10:20 when the female clerk of the Arnold Chevron was confronted by the subject wearing a ski mask with a handgun. The clerk responded by spraying the unidentified subject with mace. Again he demanded money and again he was maced. This time he left the store but not before pulling off the ski mask and revealing light colored hair.
The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 18-30 approximately six feet tall. Anybody with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact the Sheriff´s Department at (209) 754-6500. You call can always remain anonymous.
