Burson, Ca — 31-year-old Eric Weimer of Burson faces multiple drug charges after being pulled over for a traffic stop Wednesday evening.
Weimer was stopped at 10pm on Hwy 12 near Valley Springs for driving at an excessive rate of speed. The suspect was already on probation for narcotics violations, and a search of his vehicle found 2 1/4 ounces of methamphetamine.
Weimer was booked into Calaveras County Jail on possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale and transporting a controlled substance. He is being held in County Jail on $100,000 bail.
