San Andreas, CA — At 9:30 this morning the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department received a call stating that a bomb had been placed in a vehicle outside the Government Center on Mountain Ranch Rd.
The bomb, according to the caller, was scheduled to explode at 10:30am. It did not.
Building occupants were moved to the nearby library. The Sheriff Department´s Bomb Squad led by Captain Clay Hawkins responded immediately to the scene with additional personnel.
