Sonora, CA — A top item for the final supervisorial meeting of the year for Tuolumne County: a public hearing to consider the closing, reduction or the elimination of services at the Adult Day Health Care facility.
Also today consideration of authorizing an amendment to the contract between the county and CAL PERS to implement safety retirement will be discussed. That would include employees who could retire at the age of 50 and receive 99 percent of their highest salary after 33 years of service.
There will also be a resolution recognizing Fourth District Supervisor Mark Thornton for his 12 years of service on the Board.
