Jamestown, CA — The Sheriff´s Office is investigating a fire that destroyed a Jamestown tanning salon Thursday evening.
A fire was reported at ?Outlaw Tanning? shortly before 6pm. The business is located at 10289 Humbug St., directly west of Jimtown Frosty and south of the Tesoro Station on Hwy 108/49.
?Units arrived and found it well established in the interior and also into the attic,? says CAL Fire Battalion Chief Barry Rudolph. ?There is a lot of heavy damage to the building, and the investigation is ongoing right now as to the exact cause.?
The Sheriff´s Office is investigating whether there was any foul play involved, and an official says that a statement will likely be released sometime Friday.
