Modesto, CA — The national wide real estate market may be suffering but Tuolumne County remains in good shape in comparison with other nearby counties.
According to DQNews.com in a comparison of Tuolumne, Stanislaus, San Joaquin and Merced counties, the median price of November homes sold in Tuolumne County was $217,500, tops of the four counties.
San Joaquin County had a median price of $172,000 Stanislaus County, $160,000 and Merced County, $124,500.
Perhaps the most notable statistic was the percentage change from November of 2007. In Tuolumne County prices decreased by 27 percent, Stanislaus County; 43 percent, San Joaquin; 47 percent and finally Merced County a whopping 54 percent decrease from a year ago.
