Sonora, CA — Today at noon, Teri Murrison will be sworn in as the new District Three supervisor for Tuolumne County.
Murrison gained that distinction with her lopsided victory in the November 7th runoff election.
Murrison says a major concern of her constituents is roads. While she agrees, she also sees as a top priority making local government more transparent and accountable to the general public.
Joining Murrison for the ceremony in the Board Chambers will be her husband Rich and their daughter Megan along with a number of District Three constituents.
The very next morning at nine o´clock, Murrison will take her seat alongside her colleagues Liz Bass, Paolo Maffei, Mark Thornton and Dick Pland for the board´s first 2007 weekly meeting.
