San Andreas, CA — Two Calaveras County non-profits will be creating new services after receiving money from Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital.
The hospital´s Community Grants Program awarded grants to the Blue Mountain Coalition for Youth and the Calaveras Children´s Dental Program.
The Blue Mountain Coalition for Youth will use the money to develop a pilot program for health issues such as smoking cessation, asthma, and children´s health.
The Calaveras Children´s Dental Project will expand current services and increase collaborative efforts with State Medicaid organizations. The goal is to increase the number of visits provided by their mobile dental units.
