Sonora, CA — 52 year old Susan Corman of Sonora suffered major injuries in an automobile accident Thursday evening.
Despite wearing her lap/shoulder safety restraint device, Corman suffered those injuries at approximately 7:15 when her 2002 Honda exited a sharp right hand curve east of Tulloch Rd. on Hwy 120. According to the Highway Patrol her vehicle slid off the north edge of the roadway, traveled down an embankment and struck two large granite boulders.
The force of the collision caused her vehicle to overturn and come to rest right side up in the dirt median area north of the eastbound lanes.
Corman was transported to Modesto´s Memorial Medical Center.
