Sacramento, CA — 14th District State Senator Dave Cogdill has been appointed to serve on the Senate Select Committee on Air Quality.
Cogdill joins Senators Dean Florez (Chair), Alan Lowenthal and Darrell Steinberg on the select committee which has been given the charge of addressing air quality issues throughout the state. The first meeting is scheduled for Tuesday at 11am in room 3191 of the State Capitol.
Commented Cogdill, “It is an honor to be appointed to the Select Committee on Air Quality. To say that the Central Valley has air quality problems is an understatement. I hope that serving on this committee will help highlight the challenges facing the Central Valley in air quality improvements.”
