Angels Camp, CA — The Calaveras Community Foundation is once again holding its annual pro-am golf tournament at La Contenta Golf Club in Valley Springs.
The tournament is planned for Monday, May 14. Teams will consist of one professional and four amateurs. Prizes include a 2007 Subaru.
Sponsors are still being sought for any one of the 18 holes. Foundation President Susan Crosson says thanks to sponsors, the foundation can raise more money to help non-profits throughout the county.
Since 2001, the foundation has awarded 90 grants totaling more than $150,000.
