Tuolumne, CA — Summerville High School student Mason Stoltenberg has developed a rather unique senior project; it´s called Gloves Of Love.
The program is designed to provide underpriviledged youngsters with new or slightly used baseball and softball equipment in California, Guatemala and the Philippines.
The four year varsity third baseman for the Bears says he wants to spread his love of baseball to others around the world. He already has contacted three Bay Area organizations to handle the distribution.
Equipment can be dropped off at Sluggers in Sonora or at local area schools. The collection deadline is April 1.
