White Pines, CA — The committee for White Pines Park is gearing up for a major clean up.
The community events will take place on April 14 and 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park.
Ginny Kafka of the committee says community clean ups happen twice a year and depend on volunteers.
The Calaveras County Water District owns the land and the non-profit committee maintains it through donations.
Lunch will be provided. The clean up focuses on pine needles so rakes are needed.
To volunteer or make a donation call Ginny Kafka at (209) 795-1226 or Sally Goedeck at (209) 795-0296.
