Angels Camp, CA — The Calaveras Council of Governments has released a timeline for construction of the Angels Camp Bypass.
The council is the county´s regional transportation planning agency.
Consultant Scott Maas says now that the California Transportation Commission has approved funding for a recent increase in the construction cost, the project will go out to bid around the third or fourth week of April.
The bypass would start at the Highway 4/49 intersection and pop out on Highway 4 near the Rolleri Bypass.
According to a staff report, it is anticipated the construction bid will be awarded in mid-July with construction beginning late summer or fall 2007.
Construction could be completed by November of 2010.
