San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department, Animal Services Division announced today that it will offer low cost rabies clinics from May through August.
Nine clinics will be spread throughout the county between May 31 and August 9.
Sergeant Chris Hewitt says this service ensures that animals get their vaccinations. Local veterinarians give their time at no cost to provide a $6 vaccination.
Dog owners can also have their pets licensed at the clinics. All clinics start at 6 p.m.

June 28: Murphys Park
July 12: Mountain Ranch Park
July 18: Valley Springs Feed and Pet Supply
July 26: McDillard´s Feed & Supply, Copperopolis
August 9: Calaveras County Animal Services, San Andreas
