San Andreas, CA — CAL FIRE utilized six engines, a water tender and one hand crew to extinguish a half-acre vegetation fire at 840 Hillsdale Rd. across form Hidden Valley Rd. in West Point.
According to CAL FIRE Dispatcher Mary Jo Boone the cause of the fire was a Sunday evening debris burn that spread to nearby vegetation.
Crews were on hand for up to five hours.
