Father’s Day Fly-in Is Underway In Columbia

Columbia, Ca — The 41st annual Father´s Day Fly-in in underway at the Columbia Air Base.

There will be a total of five Warbird flybys during the two day event in addition to CAL FIRE aerial demonstrations, the traditional stock car/airplace race and the spot landing contest.

The complete schedule is as follows:

Saturday:

7 am – People Movers Start

7–11 am – TCAA Pancake Breakfast at Campgrounds

8am – Fly-In Opens – Vendor Booths Open

8am – FAA Tower (127.9) Operation Begins, Ground – 121.05

9am – Airplane Rides Begin – Check Registration Booth for Info

11am – Mandatory Pilots Briefing for all Demonstration Pilots

12pm – Runway 17/35 Closes for Aerial Demonstrations

12pm – Opening Ceremonies – National Anthem

12:05pm – Warbird Flybys

12:20pm – Jet Dragster

12:35pm – CDF Aerial Demonstrations

1:15pm – Stock Car / Airplane Race

1:25pm – Warbird Flybys

2pm – RC Aircraft Demonstration

2:15pm – Air Med Demonstration

2:25pm – Warbird Flybys

2:45pm – Jet Dragster

3pm – FAA Tower Opens

3pm – Runway 17/35 Opens

4pm – FAA Tower Closes

4pm – Vendor Booths Close

5pm – Altitude Adjustment – Aero Resources Hangar

5:30pm – Dinner Begins at the – Aero Resources Hangar

6:30pm – Awards Program

7pm – Entertainment Begins – Black Irish Band

Sunday:
