San Andreas, CA — According to Fire Information Officer Barbara George at the CAL FIRE Emergency Command Center, the vegetation fire in a deep drainage area near South Summit Trail Rd. south of Arnold has expanded to approximately two acres, but it is not threatening any structures.
CAL FIRE resources being utilized include six engines, two water tenders, one dozer, three hand crews and a battalion chief from Ebbetts Pass.
George adds that it will probably be early afternoon before the fire is contained.
