San Andreas, Ca — The Calaveras County Community Development Agency is seeking public input on the issue of legal access requirements when obtaining a building permit.
The Board of Supervisors has already decided that legal access is required for all building permits, and the purpose of a pair of upcoming meetings is to allow the public to provide input as to whether there are situations which should qualify for an exemption. There will also be discussion on what should constitute as adequate proof of legal access.
The first meeting is today from 4-5:30pm at the San Andreas Town Hall, and the second is tomorrow at the same time and location. Information from these sessions will be used by the CDA to prepare recommendations for the Board to consider at its meeting on July 3, 2007.
