Sonora, Ca — While the fourth of July is not until Wednesday, many Independence Day activities will be going on this weekend in the Mother Lode.
This morning the annual Arnold Independence Day Parade will start at 10am at the Arnold Byway. It will go through town, and end at the Cedar Center.
At Ironstone Vineyards in Murphys, an Independence Day Celebration will begin at 4pm. There will be live music and activities. There is a cost of $10 for adults and kids ages 13 and above, $5 for ages 5-12, and free for ages 4 and under. The night will conclude with a fireworks show beginning at 9:45pm.
At Pine Mountain Lake, a fireworks show will begin at dusk.
In Valley Springs, a fireworks show will begin at dusk over New Hogan Lake. It is free to watch from the shore, or $4 to a launch a personal boat.
