San Andreas, CA — 69 year old Thomas Graves of Dorrington and his 62 year old wife Judy Graves avoided serious injury this morning when their 2005 Chevy Tahoe struck a tree stump before coming to rest at the bottom of an embankment.
Graves was westbound on Hwy 4 approaching Big Trees State Park when he allowed his vehicle to drift off the north side of the road. He overcorrected and his vehicle crossed the double yellow lines and the eastbound lanes before departing the south side of the highway.
According to the C.H.P. report, Graves suffered minor injuries and was treated at Mark Twain-St. Joseph´s Hospital.
