Power Will Be Restored Quicker Than Expected Near Pinecrest

Pinecrest, Ca — PG&E now estimates that power will be restored to 1,700 residents around Pinecrest, Strawberry and Cold Springs shortly after 6pm this evening.

“Our crews have been on scene in an almost remote location all day fixing four severely damaged power poles,” says spokesperson Emily Barnett.

Barnett says that it appears the damage was caused by a tree that fell on PG&E power facilities. She says an investigation into who or what made that happen is still underway.
