San Andreas, CA — CAL FIRE along with other firefighting crews quickly extinguished two fires early this morning.
During the four o´clock hour, a structure fire on Glen Echo Drive off Hwy 4 was quickly extinguished. CAL FIRE officials report there was a small amount of spread to the wildland. An investigator was summoned. The scene was cleared at 9:09am.
During the five o´clock hour, two vehicles (one of them a pickup truck) were involved in a fire under a power line near Sooter´s Auto Service at 14330 Mono Way in Sonora. The fire was quickly contained with no spread into vegetation.
