Sonora, Ca — 4,515 marijuana plants were eradicated yesterday in the Rose Creek area off of Italian Bar Rd.
The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department reports that the plants averaged approximately 12 inches in height, and had not yet started to bud. If allowed to mature, the plants would have had a street value of approximately $1.8 million. No suspects were located. The Department believes that it is the work of a drug trafficking organization.
